What will I learn?
You will explore Principles and Techniques for Brickwork & Block work and Carpentry & Joinery. The course will help to prepare you for a number of routes into the Construction industry. This is not just a craft based programme, it has a number of theory based units within it. It is expected that at least 40% of the time will be in a classroom with the rest of the time being taught in the brick and carpentry workshops.
Course integration ensures that pupils will work alongside employed apprentices. The qualification you will work towards is made up of several units, which includes practical and health and safety.
