Home Learning Guidance
Home-learning should not try to recreate the school environment, but it is important for students to take part in purposeful learning activities each week. As such, a weekly curriculum for home-learning will be planned by teachers and shared on the school website. The lessons will be a careful balance between consolidation, creative, active and new learning. If at any point students need help, they are invited to contact their teacher, whose email address will be included in the work details.
Within the year-group pages, a hyperlinked timetable can be used to quickly direct students to the work that they need to be completing. This work has been organised into weekly folders so that it is easy for the work to be identified.
We ask students to try their best and present their work as they would at school with dates and headings. We would love to see the work that is being produced, so please do email work to your teachers. We ask parents to help provide a space for students to work and to offer praise and encouragement.
