WELCOME TO CHILTON TRINITY
I am delighted to welcome you to Chilton Trinity – a very special, caring community school where we all want the very best for every student and where we constantly strive to improve. I am extremely proud to be Headteacher of such a lively and aspirational school.
Teachers have high expectations of themselves and of all students. We are always looking for innovative ways to support and challenge so that students can achieve their best.
We have high expectations in relation to achievement, attendance, punctuality, uniform and behaviour; we want everyone to have the opportunity to be successful. Our school environment is positive, engaging, supportive and purposeful.
Over the past 4 years the quality of Teaching and Learning and overall levels of achievement have risen rapidly at this school. Ofsted visited us in September 2014 and we were delighted to receive good judgments across every category.
Our students know about the importance of examination success but they also know that being part of this school means that they will have opportunities to excel in activities beyond the classroom. These include Drama, Music, Sport, ICT, Technology, Languages, raising money for charity, reading widely, being a student or House Leader, being active members of the community and participating in the Duke of Edinburgh Award. Many of our students are also involved in community projects across Bridgwater such as the prestigious Carnival.
We are a genuinely comprehensive school and we are all committed to our core values of Respect, Curiosity, Aspiration and Community Kindness. We are proud of the high level of pastoral care offered to individual students through our House System, supporting their academic and emotional needs.
I hope this website will give you an insight into the school. If you would like to know more please do phone to arrange an appointment. We would be delighted to show you around.
